Roger & Adele Goetz
Roger W. Goetz (pronounced “Gets”) is the founder and president of both Fairport Asset Management Corp. and Fairport Financial, LLC. He is licensed as a Registered Investment Advisor Agent and as an Insurance Agent for life insurance, health insurance, long-term care insurance, and fixed annuities. Roger also is licensed as a Registered Representative for securities through Fairport Capital, Inc., a broker-dealer not affiliated with Fairport Asset Management or Fairport Financial. Both Roger and Fairport Capital are supervised by the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA).
Before launching his financial services business, Roger served in the U.S. Navy. He then enjoyed a career in the information processing and telecommunications industries. Roger began his career as an accountant, shifted to computer programming and systems analysis, and eventually advanced to management positions with U.S. Steel Corporation, the Electronic Data Processing Division of Honeywell Corp., Computer Investors Group, Inc., Telenet Communications Corporation, and Industry Communications Network Corporation – the latter where he was founder and president. After selling this communications service company to a major computer services and publishing firm, Roger commenced his financial services career by founding Fairport.
Roger holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Business Administration from Wagner College. He and his family have lived in Fairfield County, Connecticut for more than 50 years.
Adele Goetz is a Vice President of Fairport Asset Management Corp. Adele has partnered with her father, Roger, over the past 15 years to help clients maximize and protect their retirement income. Licensed as both a Registered Investment Advisor Agent and an Insurance Agent for life insurance, long-term care insurance, and fixed annuities, Adele has developed a particular expertise understanding Social Security. Adele helps clients navigate the rules and regulations of Social Security to maximize their full Social Security benefits.
Adele attended Manhattanville College and resides in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Joseph Gau
Joseph Gau is a Registered Investment Advisor Agent with Fairport Asset Management Corp. He is a Licensed Insurance Agent for annuities, life insurance, and long-term care insurance. He also is licensed as a Registered Representative for securities with the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA) through Fairport Capital, Inc., a broker-dealer not affiliated with Fairport Asset Management Corp. or Fairport Financial, LLC.
Joseph has been engaged in private banking and investment management for more than 40 years with various financial firms including The Citibank Private Bank in New York where he was a senior officer.
Joseph holds a B.A. (Honors) degree from Brown University. He and his family have lived in Westport, Connecticut since 1985.
